Are the plans on your website your only plans?
The plans on our site are the only the plans we currently have available. However, we can build almost any plan and we have our plan books available with hundreds of plans. We can also modify plans to suit your needs.
Can we reserve a lot and build later?
We do have a lot reservation program, and a lot sales program, if you would like to secure your property and build when you're ready.
How close are your developments to Central Oregon Resorts and Recreation?
Redmond is centrally located to Central Oregon Recreation. We are only minutes away from 5 great golf courses, including The Eagle Crest Resort. Other recreation includes hiking and climbing at Smith Rock and boating and fishing at a variety of lakes including Central Oregons Gem, Lake Billy Chinook. Redmond is currently starting work on a Large Water park near the fairgrounds.
What features are standard in your homes?
Crystal Park Construction likes to include many options that other builders would charge extra for. Our "included upgrades" vary from home to home. Contact us for list of included “standard upgrades” for the home and development you are interested in.
What upgrades can we put in our home?
We have a list of approved upgrades for all of our plans that will allow you to customize your home. We can provide that list for you on demand.
What is your “cost per square foot” on your homes?
That is a very common question, that unfortunately doesn’t have a simple answer. The factors that go into that equation vary from home to home, and lot to lot. It is like comparing cars by weight. I can say though that our lot quality and home quality is heads above most of our competition, while our cost per square foot is only marginally more. Our range is about $135 to as much as $180 per sq ft.
Do you have any special financing packages?
Yes. Our lender offers several “preferred lender pricing specials” with reduced fees and closing costs, as well as buy down plans to reduce your interest rates for up to 3 years.
How long does it take to build a new home?
Generally about 31/2 to 5 months depending on the plan. Obviosly, a larger more complicated plan will take the longest. Financing and permits also play a role in the time frame.
How far is Redmond from Bend, and why should I consider Redmond?
On Hwy 97, it take about 12 minutes to travel to bend. Redmond is a smaller town than Bend, but growing. Generally you can get more home and a bigger lot in Redmond, for less money. Redmond is at a lower elevation than Bend, so it gets less snow and rain. Golf courses are open year round, and when the new by-pass is complete in 2008, will have less traffic and congestion.
Do we need to work with a Realtor?
Many of our homes are listed with realtors who provide a valuable service to us marketing our homes. We do work directly with buyers on many of our build jobs and some direct sales. Many of our prices are figured without a realtor fee, so please check with us on the home you are interested in to see if the price includes a realtor fee.
